Trevor Austin

Hi, My name is Trevor Austin and just like all the other guys here at Pacific Calls I am also an avid waterfowler. I was born and raised in Woodinville, WA, but never do to much hunting on the west side of the state. As a child, I remember my dad changing me in the goose pit, so you can say I have been hunting or around it since I was a youngster. I grew up chasing honkers in Patterson, WA and now I roam all over the eastside of Washington. My favorite style of hunting is goose hunting in fields. Nothing better than unloading the trailer in a corn or wheat stubble field in the headlights. I am attending Washington State University (Go Cougs!) and will be there for another year pursuing my degree in Natural Resources. Out of our lineup of calls my favorite is the Pacific Calls 206. I hunt a lot of smaller Canadians and getting the loud high-pitched sound is what I look for.However the range the call posesses still allows me to run it real low and get those low murmurs and moans for the bigger birds.

 Hello, My name is Alex Yerges and Just like my partners here at Pacific Calls I am an avid waterfowler. I stem from a long line of hunters, specifically ones that have been targeting big 747 Geese throughout Eastern Washington. I’m no slouch in making my way round Washington to chase the green heads, but I like to spend the majority of my time pursuing the big black and whites on the Pend O’reille river. For me there is no bigger thrill than to sit in sub-zero temps working my dog, Hunter, and trying to fool the birds into the dekes. I am an active committe member in the Pend O'reille chapter of Ducks Unlimited and a EWU graduate.  In our lineup of calls, my favorite is the 509 goose call- Whether I’m calling the birds over the frozen river or clucking like crazy to turn them in the field, the 509 allows me the range and control I need to be successful.
