Kent Contreras

Kent was born and raised in Southern California and was drawn to the outdoors at a young age. His exploits included backpacking, fishing, exploring the mountain ranges in California and hunting for upland birds.
He moved to Central Oregon in 1983 to pursue a career with the US Forest Service as a wild-land fire fighter. In Central Oregon, Kent's passion for waterfowl hunting was developed on local hunts in fields and ponds as well as Oregon's Klamath Basin. That's when his drive for the sport really kicked in.
A work related move to Northeast Washington in 1988 is where Kent settled down with his wife Terri and children, Steven and Michelle. Local hunting has proven to be challenging yet very productive. Fields, streams, lakes and rivers abound in the area and he has hunted most every spot available to public hunting.
Hunts along the Pend Oreille River are his favorite for, as he says, "I always learn something new." Kent still hunts in Oregon with friends whenever possible and continues to spread the passion of the sport by bringing new hunters with him on hunts, supporting the local Ducks Unlimited chapter as chairman, and offering hunts to youth in the county. Kent enjoys teaching and spreading the word about waterfowl hunting.
He has found a new passion with calling birds and he uses the Pacific Calls 509 everyday while hunting. This call sounds great whether your in a field or on open water. Its realism is phenomenal and the range is incredible. Ive used a ton of calls and I really like the sound and feel of the 509, this one gets it done day in and day out.
Allen Riggs
Allen Riggs grew up in Spokane, Washington. He began fishing at age four in the creek on the family farm. Allen received a lever action .22 as a gift at the age of 10. He would spend as much time as possible walking through the woods hunting forest grouse. By the age of twelve, Allen was hunting deer and harvested his first, a forked horn, at the age of thirteen.
His passion for the outdoors and hunting has shaped his way of living. Allen now spends most of his time in the fall and winter months hunting waterfowl, but still hunts deer and turkey on his property in eastern Washington. Allen has been married to Angela for 28 years. Together they have two children, Tyler and Holly. Both Tyler and Holly share his love of the outdoors and are avid waterfowl and deer hunters. He also enjoys camping and traveling with his family in the summer months.
Allen is active in his local chapter of DU, serving first as a committee member and then being elected to the position of Co-Chairman. Allen is also a Pro Staff for Avery outdoors and HEVI-Shot. With his many years of hunting experience, he brings a wealth of information to the Pacific Calls Pro-Staff. During the waterfowl season, Allen and his hunting partners spend anywhere from 50-60 days in the field using Pacific Calls. When it comes to hunting, Allen knows which products work as well as which do not. Thats why Allen uses Pacific Calls
Mark Purser

My name is Mark Purser and I am from Mead, Washington. I grew up hunting ducks on the eastern side of Washington state. Chasing the majestic Mallards all throughout the Pacific Flyway kept me interested in the sport throughout my young life. Baseball took me away from my native state, and sent me to Oklahoma where I currently reside and hunt the central flyway. When school is not in session I enjoy hunting the fields and swamps in my local area and get to the opportunity for a GREAT spring snow goose season each year!
I pro staff with Bass Pro Shops in their firearms department and have spent my fair share of time around the different duck calls that are on the market today. Nothing compares to the ITF duck call. Dollar for dollar it has the best volume, tone and range to meet all the various hunting situations I face.
If I could only have one call to kill ducks it would be my ITF. Whether I'm chasing mallards, teal, woodies, gadwall or the occasional spoonbill this call helps add the realism I need to be successful. It does everything I want it to, and more.
STEVEN AVILA

My name is Steven Avila I currently live in Hermiston Oregon. I was born in a small town in eastern Oregon, where I spent most of my time killing ducks and geese with my close friends and family on the Columbia river and small potholes, shooting everything from mallards to mud ducks, geese and everything in between. I also love to hunt turkeys in the spring, chase deer and elk with my bow but my true passion is chasing waterfowl all over eastern Oregon
I love every aspect of waterfowl hunting. Experimenting with new decoy spreads, moving my spread around in the middle of a hunt to make sure the birds work right, adjustingfor river systems, potholes and lakes with the time of year and weather to make my hunt a success. But most of all the friendships and memories that I will make through my experiences are whyI keep coming back.
After so many years of love and passionfor the sport of waterfowl,I make it a point to give back. I am currentlya Pro-Staffer for duckjunkies.com as well as devote my time toyouth mentoring. Teaching young hunters about this sport with youth hunts, clean ups and wildlife management projects with our local wildlife refuges has great reqards and helps further our sport for generations to come. I am a currentmemberof ducks unlimited and believe in their cause.
Ido have some experience on the calling circuit, and even though it has been some time since I have been on stage, I ameager to try again. I am equally as eager to work with the guys at Pacific Calls and can't wait to see where this venture takes me.
Jonathan Wills

My name is Jonathan Wills and I live in central California. I spend at least 3 days a week chasing ducks and geese all over the state. I spend lots of time hunting the California refuges but I also have a 4 man stand up blind in the grasslands. Here in central California we get a wide variety of ducks and geese so it's nice to have versatility of the Pacific Custom Calls line up. When I am out in the blind I really enjoy taking lots of pictures and videos so I can try and capture all the aspects of the hunt.
When I am not chasing waterfowl I am either waterside trying to get a few fish on the fly rod or training my retriever. I am very involved in retriever training and hunt tests. I compete in AKC hunt tests and North American Hunting Retriever Association. My dog's name is SR Four K's Raising Cain JH, or "Cain" as I call him. He is a two year old male Labrador Retriever and spends his summers in training with Blue Collar Retrievers in California. He will be running in seniors this year. He qualified for the 2011 NAHRA regionals that were held in Puget Sound, WA where he passed both tests. I spend lots of time at the trainers during the summer months and love watching him compete. I also help at some of the hunt tests at Hillsferry HRC when they need gunners. Check them out at
www.hillsferryhrc.com
I am the chairman of the Fresno Ducks Unlimited and the Co-Chair of the Kerman
California Waterfowl Association. I also spend some of the summer months helping out with the California Waterfowl Association junior camps where we teach kids everything they will need to know about hunting and to help get them involved in our wonderful sport. Check out the event schedule on their website at

I really enjoy meeting new people who share a passion for waterfowling so if you are ever in California get in touch with me and we can go chase some birds.
